@stadiacast I believe all you will need to do is get the chrome-cast connected to the network and you can do this Bluetooth on the phone or maybe even the controller. The controller connects first Bluetooth and then to the WiFi through the chrome-cast. I could be wrong but that’s how I believe it will work.

YouTube comment from Random Noob

Most people that complain about bad unreliable internet actually do not have a actual problem with the internet but rather the cheapest of cheap ISP supplied router In the past I used to have regular outages that required regular reboots especially under heavy usage but now I run pfSense on a old Watchguard Firebox XTM5 and a Ubiquiti Uni Fi AC Pro been running this setup now for years and unless I do a firmware update my uptime has been 100% made a day/night difference Same goes for when people complain about speed with my ISP on the support forums you see no end of people with high speed connections complaining because of slow speeds and only getting like 20Mbps The usual response is to ask how they are connected for testing and the answer is usually WiFi typically on 2.4Ghz because its the strongest signal but don’t seem to understand that the slow speed is due to being capped by the maximum speed of the WiFi connection

Hey Bill,

I was looking at the prices of the Nintendo Switch and the Lite Switch and I realized that the Lite Switch is only $100 dollars cheaper than the regular Switch. I feel this is a huge mistake on Nintendo’s part if you add up the numbers. The main things that come with the regular Switch in the box are: a dock, an HDMI cord, joy-con straps, and a charger. The Lite switch only comes with a charger and the console. The dock, joy-con straps, and HDMI cable that don’t come with the Switch Lite are about $95. Meaning that when you buy a regular Switch you are paying bout $5 for: HD rumble, removable and replaceable joy-cons, a kick-stand, a bigger screen and controls, TV accessibility, more games, etc.  You get all of this stuff for an amazing deal compared to the Switch Lite all for the price of a little bit smaller battery life. For these reasons, I would pick a regular Nintendo Switch over the Lite Switch any day. While I can see the Switch Lite for lil’ Timmy, I am not letting Nintendo fool me. (I like to crunch numbers if you couldn’t tell)

Hey Bill,

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the switch lite. I’m a little disappointed with the price and no real upgrades to justify the cost. I think that when this releases in September for $200 dollars, people online will be selling their older Nintendo Switch’s on (Facebook Market) ( OfferUp) or (Craigslist) for the same price or lower. So why purchase this when I could get a better switch? I feel like I will wait for the next rumored Upgraded larger model in the future. Thanks for the consistent great content

Nintendo Introduces Nintendo Switch Lite, A Device Dedicated to Handheld Game Play

In a video today, Nintendo introduced Nintendo Switch Lite, a device designed specifically to play Nintendo Switch games in handheld mode. The Nintendo Switch Lite system launches Sept. 20 at a suggested retail price of $199.99 and will be available in three different colors: yellow, gray and turquoise. A carrying case and screen protector set for Nintendo Switch Lite will also be available.
“Adding Nintendo Switch Lite to the lineup gives gamers more color and price point options,” said Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser. “Now consumers can choose the system that best suits how they like to play their favorite Nintendo Switch games.”

The flagship Nintendo Switch launched in March 2017 and offers three different play modes: playing in TV mode by placing the system into a Nintendo Switch dock, playing cooperatively or competitively in tabletop mode by sharing Joy-Con controllers and playing in handheld mode. The system comes with either Gray Joy-Con controllers or Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers.
Nintendo Switch Lite has integrated controls and is smaller than the flagship version of Nintendo Switch. It has no kickstand and, as a dedicated handheld gaming device, does not support video output to a TV. Therefore, it does not come with a dock or HDMI cable. For a full list of the differences between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, visit https://www.nintendo.com/switch/compare.

The new device can play all games in the robust Nintendo Switch library that support handheld mode*, although some games will have restrictions. Compatible game modes will be listed on the back of game packaging and in Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite owners can get together to enjoy compatible multiplayer titles like Super Mario Maker 2Mario Kart 8 DeluxeSplatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate together via Nintendo Switch Online** or local wireless multiplayer***.
For additional information about Nintendo Switch Lite, visit https://www.nintendo.com/switch/lite/.
 * For games that support tabletop mode, players can wirelessly connect Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. In these cases, users will need to have a device to recharge Joy-Con controllers, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip.
