Hey Bill!
SchmokinHerbz here, Ive listened to switchcraft for quite some time now,  just recently started popping into twitch to say hi. Your community is real nice to new people.
But the main reason for this email is just that I have been wanting two green joycons forever now and have dreaded having to buy two sets of joycons just to get the color combo I want. AND NOW THEY ARE COMING OUT AS A SPECIAL!
I will be getting them alongside Luigi’s Mansion 3 and cannot be anymore excited. I knowbyou didnt seem that excited but this is something Ive wanted forever!
Keep it up,SchmokinHerbz

Hi Bill,
Always enjoy your show! I would like to raise a potential topic for you.
Have you heard about the disaster that is the Switch port of Pillars Of Eternity? Many players are experiencing major gameplay, graphics and stability bugs in the initial release – in some regards it feels like an early beta version got shipped:

https://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/cpfngj/obsidian_on_twitter_re_pillars_of_eternity_switch/To their credit, the Studio behind the port, Versus Evil (@vs_evil) is engaging with players on Twitter, so I hope we can get the issues fixed reasonably soon without making a big stink about it, but it raises the question how a port of this miserable quality could ever be submitted to the eShop. I wonder what are your thoughts on this kind of issue?
Would be interesting to hear your opinion on this on Nintendo SwitchCraft and have a bit more attention called to the quality of ports for the Switch.
Keep up the great work,
Matthias,Tokyo

I was checking the eshop and was going down to nso and I saw they had a smash bros spirit broad pack and I was wondering is there any game that you would like to see free stuff from having nso like they have done with smash and splatoon

Punch a damned demon in its damned face – Devil’s Hunt launch dates and Switch release revealed!

Coming to PC on September 17th, and PS4, Switch and Xbox One in Q1 2020

Prague, Czech Republic — August 1, 2019 — Demon’s suck. Finding out you may just be one? That’s the pits! Thankfully, bombastic punch-em-up, Devil’s Hunt, is coming to help work through your inner struggle between good and evil. 1C Entertainment is excited to announce that Devil’s Huntwill launch on Steam on September 17, 2019, with subsequent releases on PS4 and Xbox One – as well as a newly-announced Switch version – in the first quarter of 2020.

Originally slated to launch simultaneously across all platforms, the decision to shift Devil’s Hunt’s console launches into early 2020 was not one that was made lightly. Both 1C Entertainment and developer Layopi Games made the decision in order to ensure the game’s PC debut has the polish and commitment to quality befitting an extravagant third person action game where players fight their way through Hell, Jerusalem, and… Miami?

Step into the designer shoes of Desmond, your not-so-friendly neighbourhood anti-hero and general Miami nuisance. Turns out, he’s forged a deal with the devil and is firmly planted in the middle of a cosmic struggle between angels and demons. With the fate of humankind hanging in the balance, Desmond must come to grips with his demonic new powers as he literally punches his way through hell, taking down all manner of fearsomely angelic and demonic creatures.

Microsoft’s PlayFab Party and Switch

A Resetera user was at GDC and at the Microsoft booth they saw a Nintendo Switch. When asked the people in charge of the demo said that they were working on an SDK that would work on Xbox, Windows, Android, iOS, and Switch. They followed up with the fact that MS pitched this idea to Nintendo and described them as extremely enthusiastic and very supportive.

What does it do? It was originally designed as a voice to text accessibility feature, but ended up expanding to include leaderboards, matchmaking, party, and server/lobby support. Microsoft intends to sell the SDK to developers to help them with jump the hurdles of cross platform play.
